A magnificent and exceptionally rare Faberge enameled gold thimble, workmaster Michael Perchin, ST Petersburg, circa 1890, the top set with a translucent white stone, the rose gold body covered with pale blue translucent enamel over a wavy engine turned ground, the upper rim of the thimble wrapped with a band of yellow gold rococco waves; bearing the original Faberge scratched inventory number 51660.
