A Faberge two color gold and 2 color enamel mounted wooden paperknife, workmaster Hjalmar Armfeldt, ST Petersburg, circa 1899 to 1908, the flattened oval wooden blade mounted at one end with beautiful mauve enamel over a wavy engine turned ground, highlighted with a band of oyster white enamel fitted with yellow gold acanthus leaves between rose gold bands. Length 10 3/8".
