An extremely rare Russian porcelain plate from the Orloff Service, Imperial Porcelain Factory, circa 1763. This porcelain service was a gift from Catherine II to Count Gregory Orloff for his help in assisting her attain the Russian throne. The plate molded in low relief and decorated in overglaze gilding and silvering featuring the monogram of Count Orloff within a ribbon-tied wreath, all beneath a nine-pointed crown. Diameter: 9 1/8" (23.2 cm).
