A Russian silver four sided serving bowl from the dowry service of the Grand Duchess Alexandra Nicholaevna, ordered by her father Tsar Nicholas I for her wedding, maker's mark 'HB', retailed by the firm of Morozov in ST Petersburg between 1908 and 1917. (obviously a later replacement to the service), one side engraved with her crowned monogram, the other with the Imperial Eagle; the interior richly gilt. Size: 7.75" square, 3.75" tall (19.7 x 9.5 cm).
