A massive Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh, maker's mark ER (Cyrillic), Moscow, 1896-1908. Of traditional form, the body and stylized scroll handle completely decorated in a flowing multi-color floral, foliate and bird motif against a green ground, the prow set with an imposing cast and chased gilt figural bird.
