An Imperial Porcelain Factory jam dish from the Gatchina Palace Service, late 19th century. The dish is decorated with the old style coat of arms featuring a crowned Imperial eagle with downturned wings, the Shield of St. George against a red ground on it’s breast. The original service was produced in the 1830’s with later additions made in the late 19th and early 20th century. Dimensions: 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" (14.6 x 11.4 cm).
