A Russian silver gilt and cloisonne enamel salt throne, Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, 1894. Of traditional form on four bun feet, the seat, hinged lid, and shaped back decorated in a multi-color scrolling foliate motif with geometric borders and rows of turquoise enamel beads. Height: 4 3/4" (12.1 cm).
